Kata Beach

Kata Beach is about 2 kilometres in length, bordered by rocky headlands with Karon Beach to the north and Kata Noi Beach to the south. The bay is shallow for about 30 metres from the white sand beach making it good for kids to swim and play. It’s more laid back place than Patong Beach but still has plenty to do with watersports, tourist shops galore and nightlife. Restaurants range from cheap to romantic beachside settings that will put a dent in your credit card.
