The Katathani is perfectly designed to make the most of its beachfront location. The property is made up of two resorts – Thani Resort and Spa and Bhuri Beach Resort which are within easy walking distance of each other. Facilities at both resorts can be used by guests staying at either resort.
You’ll be spoiled for choice of dining with 6 restaurants including Thai, Western, grilled seafood, Mediterranean and a pool side brassiere. There are also 5 swimming pools, 2 floodlit tennis courts and 2 therapeutic spas.
The Thani Resort is pure beachfront, in fact taking up most of Kata Beach! Every room here as been catergorised as a ‘suite’ with Junior Suites making up the majority. All 265 suites at this resort come with great views out to the Andaman Sea.
The Bhuri Beach Resort is located down the other end of the beach, but isn’t true beachfront. There is a beachclub area on the beach for guests to use as well as the use of the pools and restaurants located at the Thani Resort. The 213 rooms at the Bhuri are more modern in design and most have garden views. A few rooms have oceanviews which can be requested. The Bhuri is more ideal for families too as the kid’s club is located here as well as family rooms (double bed, single bed and a small sofa that can be made up for a second child).
