Built into the tropical forest covered cliff at Kata Beach, the hotel commands great views over Andaman Sea. The Tropical Garden Resort lives up to its name with lush tropical gardens. There are two swimming pools, one a smaller quieter pool and the other a larger more lively pool. Alongside of this is a kid’s pool. Both pools have views out to the sea. Across the road is the beach so you’re only a minute or so walk away from a refreshing dip in the emerald waters. Rooms are comfortable, have good size balconies and contain all the usual amenities you’d expect in a 3 star hotel. Views vary from room to room - the higher the level the better the sea views. The lower the level rooms have garden views. There are a few elevators but still plenty of steps so take this into account if you’re not keen on too much exercise.
